At the recent 12th Congress of the European Association for Palliative Care (EAPC) held in Lisbon, Portugal from 18th - 21st May 2011 (www.eapc-2011.org), 7 posters and 4 oral presentations were presented by members of the OPCARE9 project. Click here for some examples.

The Economist Intelligence Unit produced a report ranking the quality of end of life care for 40 countries - The quality of death: ranking end of life care across the world. Commissioned by the Lien Foundation, a Singaporean philanthropic organisaton, to devise a "quality of death" index to rank countries according to their provision of end of life care. Overall ranking and the index methodology are summarised in the first chapter, please click here for the full report.
