Recent research themes – related with service evaluation, cross-cultural adaptation & validation of technologies re patients’ assessment, symptoms epidemiology & organizational % clinical audit.

Examples of Previous Relevant Collective Experience

·       EMPATHOS (Effectiveness of palliative care teams at hospitals) Consortium of public hospitals in Buenos Aires evaluating palliative care effectiveness.

·       PLATO (Palliative Care, Learning Together). A collaborative project between UK, Argentina and South Africa to increase the effectiveness of palliative care education programmes in the three partner countries. Hosted by Sir Michael Sobell House, Oxford; UK.

·       Work in collaboration with colleagues from the King´s College, London; UK to make a crossculturally adaptation and validation of the Palliative Outcome Scale into Argentine-Spanish.

·       Audit of a Palliative care programme in Buenos Aires (non government initiative): A programme for terminally ill disadvantaged people.

·       Palliative Care Programme, Cusco (Perú) Honorary advisor organization for the development of the first Palliative care Initiative in Cusco (2005-2007)
